F&B Manufacturers from Singapore at International Food Fair in Czech Republic

A group of food manufacturers under the flagship of the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMa) will be doing Singapore proud at the Salima International Food Fairs 2008 held in Brno, Czech Republic from 4 March to 7 March 2008.

This will be the first time that the
F&B manufacturers will be attempting to penetrate into Central /
Eastern Europe market which consists of the Czech and Slovak
Republics, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia
This region alone has a potential market of 100 million people with
Czech now a main gateway to Western Europe market of a further 300
million people.

In total, 6 local household brands
would be taking the lead in representing Singapore in this emerging
market. They are Asian Home Gourmet, Owl International, Chinatown
Food Corporation, The Factory Chocolat, Goh Yeow Seng and Tong
Garden.
