Budapest is one of the most popular travel destination during New Year's Eve

The Hungarian capital is the 12th most popular travel destination among the European travelers on the list of European cities on the basis of the data of the Trivago.hu hotel search site.

The survey sent to MTI on Friday also shows that Hungarians are looking for four star hotels with the largest proportion for the last party of the year.

According to the data of the portal at the end of the year the hotels in Budapest are full: 96 percent of the accommodations in Budapest and in Hajdúszoboszló have already sold out, occupancy is 90 percent in Hévíz, 93 percent in Swárvár and 98 percent in Eger. (MTI)
