Péter Szijjártó: companies can apply for investment subsidies more widely
From Monday, companies can apply for investment subsidies on a wider scale – the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced on Sunday on his social media page. Péter Szijjártó indicated that significant simplifications will be introduced in the system of investment subsidies.
The minister announced that the minimum required investment volume will be reduced, so in smaller rural settlements – instead of the previous four billion forints – the subsidy will be available for investments of HUF 1.2 billion, and this will open up the opportunity for many Hungarian-owned businesses to receive up to 50 percent support for your developments. In addition, the security system related to subsidies will be simplified, and in the future, investments in renewable energy production will also be eligible for subsidies in Budapest.
In addition to all this, a new type of support for strategic investments supporting the transition to an environment-friendly economy will become available throughout Hungary.
