Péter Szijjártó: Next year, Hungary will once again be at the top of the EU economic growth rankings
Following the investment records, Hungary is confidently returning to the path of economic growth this year, and next year it will once again be at the top of the European Union ranking in this field, said Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó in Mátranovák.
At the handover ceremony of Alstom’s investment, the head of the ministry said that in the framework of the six billion HUF development of the French engineering concern, modern machines were purchased, which can increase the production capacity by 40 percent. As a result, the company in Hungary, which is a global leader in the field of high-tech transport components, will have one of the largest bogie frames production plants in Europe.
The project was supported by the state with HUF 1.2 billion, thus contributing to the creation of 150 new jobs, he informed, also referring to the fact that the company not only employs a large number of professionals working in shortage professions, but also introduces new welding technology in Mátranovák.
