Péter Szijjártó: German business leaders decide on investments in Hungary based on their experience, not press reports
The managers of German companies do not make decisions about investments in Hungary based on their own experience, not press reports, so bilateral economic cooperation will develop as long as it is based on reality, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced on Monday in Pécs.

At the announcement of the investment by the German-based Körber Hungária, the head of the ministry reported that the plant specializing in the production of food and tobacco machinery will expand its capacity and increase its efficiency as part of the development worth more than HUF 5.6 billion.
Within the framework of the project, which receives HUF 850 million in state support, the company, which employs approximately 1,200 people, will also build a solar park, he informed. He then pointed out that Hungary has the second largest site of the concern, which is present on four continents with more than twenty-five production centers, and there was a lot of competition for the investment just announced.
“This also supports the fact that businessmen are thorough people, German businessmen in particular, and make decisions based on experience, not press reports. As long as Hungarian-German economic cooperation is based on reality, it will develop, as we can see now here, also in Pécs”
he stated.
