Péter Szijjártó: For the Hungarian food industry, Singapore represents a great opportunity
There is a friendly cooperation between Hungary and Singapore based on mutual respect, which is helped by the fact that the two countries consider their own national sovereignty extremely important and do not ask for external interventions, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in Singapore on Wednesday.
According to the ministry’s statement, the head of the ministry underlined that the Southeast Asian city-state is our country’s most significant trading partner in the region, and the relationship is particularly friendly.
“We are talking about two countries, two governments that consider the sovereignty of their own nation extremely important. Two countries that do not ask for external interventions. Two countries that do not ask for education, that can confidently say that their own their citizens can decide wisely enough what kind of future they want for the country”
– he stated.
He pointed out that, based on this sovereignist position, the parties support the return of mutual respect to international politics, and often cooperate in international organizations.
