Szijjártó: Nestlé’s 90 billion HUF investment will create 280 new jobs in Bük
As a result of Nestlé Hungária Kft.’s capacity expansion investment, 280 new jobs will be created in Bük, and this development will also contribute to breaking the record for investments, exports and employment in Hungary this year, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced at the site on Thursday.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, at the handover of Nestlé Hungária Kft.’s investment, the head of the ministry reported that the Swiss-owned company had expanded the capacities of its pet food production site for about HUF 90 billion, thus creating 280 new jobs.
Between 2021 and 2023, the company implemented a training program worth nearly 390 million forints, which the government supported with 193 million forints, and thanks to which the Hungarian economy can move one step higher again in terms of technological standards – he announced, adding that the company present in 77 countries around the world Nestlé sells 90 percent of its products on foreign markets, so Hungarian export performance will continue to grow.
He then pointed out that electricity for the factory is provided from renewable sources, which contributes to Hungary being one of the twenty states in the future that can increase their gross domestic product (GDP) while reducing their emissions.
