Stricter rules to be introduced in the city center of Amsterdam due to tourists
Stricter rules will be introduced in the center of Amsterdam, due to the enormous tourist tide that disturbs many local people, for example, it will be much simpler to fine the people involved in filling or drinking alcohol or urinating. ”
The new Mayor of the city, Femke Halsema informed that they will continuously monitor the number of visitors, and if certain districts become overcrowded, they will be able to close certain streets.
In particularly busy sections they will introduce a kind of “cleaning break”, which excludes tourists from there to fix the streets. (MTI, Bajnok Artúr)
