Legal requirements relating to the labeling of foodstuffs to be more stringent
The EU Regulation No. 1169/2011 on informing teh consumers in connection with food products will enter into force on 13 December 2014.
“The regulation is applicable directly to all food enterprises and authorities of all Member States without any further transposition. The new regulation pertains to all foods at all the levels of the food chain”- warns Torsten Braner, the lawyer of the Taylor Wessing e | n | w | c international law firm.
