The Slovak Ministry of Agriculture would apply more stringent checks on food imports
The Slovak Ministry of Agriculture prepares to tighten the control of food imports and would increase the fines on poor quality imported products – the SITA Slovak News Agency reported on Tuesday referring to Lubomír Jahnátek Minister.
According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, they would tighten the inspection of imported foods in many sections. In the transport section, the ministry – in cooperation with the Interior Ministry – would establish control groups that would regularly check the food delivery trucks. (Starovic Tibor, MTI)
