Blooming treasures of Siam: The Spring Exhibition of the Hungarian Orchid Society in the Vajdahunyad Castle

When the days are longer and the sun shines more often in the gardens, then spring has arrived, and it is time for the Spring exhibition of the Hungarian Orchid Society.

As always for years, we would like to acquaint our visitors with a new orchid-growing area between 17 and 19 April. The location of the exhibition is the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, in the Vajdahunyadvár.

Now Thailand is in the focus of interest now, not by chance. The former Siam (now Thailand) is a popular tourist destination, many people spend weeks there in the darkest winter, enjoying the thousands of colors of Bangkok, or the wonderful environment of the beaches. Northern Thailand is one of the richest habitat for orchids, the rare yellow, white, pink Dendrobium or the small, exotic Bulbophyllum flowers can also be found there.
