Tourists love Romania
The number of overnight stays increased by 15.7 percent in Romania in the first eight months of the year, compared to the same period of the last year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Thursday.
The number of overnight stays was 16.258 million, of which more than 80 percent was spent by Romanian tourists. The number foreign tourists was 1.510 million. They spent 2.994 million guest nights in commercial accommodation facilities in Romania. (MTI)
