Europe drinks Szerencsi coffee
This year, 33 thousand tons of coffee and cocoa leaves Nestlé’s Szerencs-based plant. Beside Hungary, the products are marketet in 28 countries. NESCAFÉ® products are produced in the Szerencs-based plant since 1993, including the ever-popular 3in1 coffee. Coffee is present in Hungary for more than four centuries. Today nearly half of the people starts the morning with a refreshing black coffee.
More than 21 thousand tons of coffee mix, 10 thousand tons of cocoa and2 thousand tons instant coffee is being produced in the Szerencs-based plant of Nestlé. More than 80 percent of the produced instant coffee and cocoa products are prepared for export. The Hungarian factory supplies 28 countries from the United Kingdom to the Adriatic, and from 2012 the plant exports products to Nordic countries as well.
