The Austrian police in agreement with the Constitutional protection agency strengthens the protection of the Christmas markets in Vienna from Wednesday, to prevent from truck assassination.

Patrick Maierhofer, spokesman of the Vienna Police told that they want to prevent from vehicle attacks at the fairs. So concrete block will are placed at the Vienna Christmas Market at the Rathausplatz. At the fair in front of the Schönbrunn Palace concrete blocks were already placed on Tuesday night.
