From Wednesday, heated bars without tobacco will cost HUF 700 more
In the case of heating rods that do not contain tobacco, an excise tax of HUF 35 per fiber must be paid, which, calculated with a box of twenty fibers, means HUF 700. This is how much more heated tobacco products may cost from Wednesday, reports Világgazdaság.
Heated tobacco products have been subject to the excise tax law until now, and the tax burden on them was HUF 35 per stick – this will not change now. From Wednesday, heating sticks that do not contain tobacco will also fall into this category.
