Lidl is expanding in Serbia
The German Lidl food chain begins to build out its stores in Serbia in the second half of the year – the Magyar Szó wrote on Wednesday.
The newspaper refers to Rasim Ljajic Trade Minister, who stated that Lidl to open retail outlets in fifteen cities across the country.
According to the minister it is almost certain that by June Lidl will buy the land necessary for the construction and then the construction begins in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Nis and Zrenjanin where the land is already purchased. (Markovics Annamária, MTI)
