Only online cash registers can be used from September
The businesses can use only online cash registers from 1 September. If a company fails to repkplace the online cash register it can be fined up to 1 million HUF, and the tax authority can clsoe the shop for 12 days – the Ministry of National Economy warns (NGM).
According to the Monday released statement of the ministry, on the basis of the report from the manufacturers and distributors, until the end of August several thousands of cash registers can be immediately set up. In other words, the company that is obliged to use the online cash register only has to do is to visit the manufacturer or the distributor, and the order can be fulfilled immediately. The companies can can choose from 136 approved types. (MTI)
