There will be no new president before September
Last year Tamás Háber, the president of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) announced his resignation from the post as of this March. In February, members decided to postpone the election of a new president until September.
There were practical reasons (which also had to do with parliamentary elections) behind the decision. The president will remain in his position until September and a members’ committee is now working on finding the perfect candidates for the presidency.
