Record traffic at the Liszt Ferenc airport in September

Budapest Airport registered the strongest ever traffic in September this year, so the third quarter ended well and the 8.7 million annual passenger traffic seems to be available – told the Budapest Airport to MTI on Wednesday.

Malév also performed very well. Especially the good results of the Hungarian Airlines is behind the 12 percent expansion in passenger traffic.

Compared to September last year, traffic increased by 6.1 percent. Since the beginning of the year, the Budapest Airport registered a total of 6.8 million passengers, 533 thousand more than a year ago – reports MTI.
