In September, the number of guest nights also exceeded the numbers of 2019
September brought better-than-expected results, as the number of guest nights was 65 percent higher than last year, and 4 percent higher than in 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic, said the official director of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) in his podcast published on Saturday.
Guller Zoltán added that last month 1.2 million guests, including 800,000 Hungarian and more than 360,000 foreign tourists, spent 3 million guest nights in Hungarian accommodations. (MTI)
