KSH: the foreign trade surplus was 939 million euros in September
In September, the export value increased by 6.0 percent, while the value of imports increased by 5.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The trade surplus amounted to 939 million euros (294 billion HUF), 85 million euros (38 billion HUF) more than in September last year – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
According to the detailed data, in September 2014 the value of exports was 7.8 billion euros, while the value of imports amounted to 6.8 billion euros.
In the first nine months of the year, the value of exports was 62.9 billion euros, while the value of imports amounted to 57.9 billion euros. The trade balance surplus amounted to 5.0 billion euros, which was 105 million euros higher than in the same period of 2013. (MTI)
