Romania’s retail sales increased
According to the raw data, Romanian retail sales grew 5.7 percent in the first eight months of this year, compared to the same period of last year the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced.
According to seasonally adjusted and calendar-effect adjusted data, growth was 6.4 percent in the period under review.
Growth in raw data was stimulated primarily by the sale of non-food products, which increased by 6.9 percent. (MTI)
