SZÉP-card: favourable taxation will be maintained until the end of the year
The employer will only have to pay 15% personal income tax (Sja) by the end of the year, since no social contribution tax (Socho) will be incurable. This represents a 35% saving for the employer compared to the same net value, said Moore Hungary consulting and audit firm.
- the allowance may be transferred to the sub-account of the accommodation for a maximum of HUF 400 000 per year,
- the sum may be transferred to the sub-account of the hospitality sector up to HUF 265 000 per year,
- the allowance which may be transferred to the sub-account of leisure time shall be considered as a fringe benefit up to a maximum amount of HUF 135 000 per year.
