Szentkirályi: unbroken market leadership
Last year, the domestic mineral water retail market increased by 0.5 percent in turnover and 4.7 percent in value, compared to the previous year. On the basis of the cumulative water market datas of ACNielsen, the Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft. retained its market leading position, among the companies producing branded products.
The company has reached a 6.05 billion HUF revenue in 2011 with a 13 percent growth, compared to the base period and planning a 14 percent growth for 2012.
In the field of HoReCa the Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft. has even more success: the number of stores visited by the company’s commercial team increased by 117 percent. In addition to the economic success the brand has been enriched with a new prize: at the Hungarian round of the SIAL d'Or international competition 2012, the 1 liter package of the Szentkirályi Mineral Water became the winner of the alcohol-free category.
