180 hectoliters of Whisky accidentally flushed at bottling plant
Thousands of liters of Whisky has been flushed down the drain by accident at a bottling plant in Dumbarton, Scotland.
It is reported that the incident occurred during the night shift at Chivas Brothers on Tuesday as equipment at the bottling plant was being cleaned.
The worker on duty was trying to drain away waste water, however, he somehow managed to flush thousands of liters of expensive bulk whisky instead.
So much whisky was reportedly poured away that sewage workers later reported that a strong whiskey smell had overwhelmed the sewer system. (MTI)
