Contaminated Mozzarella could be transported to Hungary

200-300 kg of milk-white mozzarella cheese could be released in Hungarian stores through three Hungarian suppliers. The product was produced by the German Milchwerk Jäger GmbH.

Several applications have been arrived to the EU rapid alert system for food and feed, that the milk-white mozzarella cheese produced by the Milchwerk Jäger GmbH after opening the pack turns blue – reports the Hungarian Food Safety Office.
Notifications have not arrived from domestic customers or distributors, that anyone became ill. The cheeses of the German manufacturers were already recalled from the stores – reports Origo.
