Tesco recalled toxic chips
The Tesco supermarket chain has announced that the 150-gram Tesco sea salt potato chips will be withdrawn from circulation due to a pollutant. The reason for the recall is that the product was contaminated with mineral oils. The item ID of the affected product is 533343 and has a shelf life of February 19, 2025. The chip is made by Intersnack Poland Sp. z o.o.
Tesco asks customers not to consume the product with the above-mentioned lot ID and shelf life. The product will be returned at any Tesco store in Hungary, even without a receipt or invoice proving the purchase, and the price of the product will be refunded.
The supermarket chain apologizes for the inconvenience and assured customers that the recall is aimed at avoiding health risk
