The Szekszárd wine region’s dominance

For the third time the wines of the Hungarian Parliament were selected – with blind tasting. In 8 categories 203 wines from 113 wineries were competing. Wineries from Szekszárd finished in the first three places in both the Bikavér and Kadarka categories. Altogether seven Szekszárd wineries were honoured in the contest. The winners – including the Bikavér of Sebestyén Winery and the Kadarka of the Németh János Winery – will represent Hungary at prestigious events in the parliament. //
