Tibor Székács is the new CEO and co-owner of Kende Retail
Kende Retail a unique company in Hungary that builds fully autonomous, unmanned stores, is already operating stores in three locations. Due to the increased scope of responsibilities, Tibor Székács, who has extensive retail experience, joined the startup in 2024 as CEO and co-owner.

Tibor Székács is no stranger to the FMCG market, having gained significant professional experience in the positions of CEO of Plus Food Discount and ALDI Hungary, and then as one of the Group Managing Directors of the Hofer Group. After the offline market, he moved into e-commerce in 2022 as co-founder of the online shopping platform Avokado.
“Shopping habits and customer needs are constantly changing, with a growing emphasis on speed and flexibility. It is clear that consumers prefer convenient and experiential shopping. By increasing the number of autonomous partner stores, territorial expansion, introducing AI-based retail technologies to the Hungarian and European market, and introducing new solutions in the familiar retail environment, we aim to provide customers with a shopping experience that can be a real alternative to traditional store shopping under the TakeItEasy brand.”
