Smaller yields caused one hundred billion HUF reduction in revenue to the cereal producers
Last year about 13 million tons of grain were produced in Hungary, which is 2 million tons less than in the previous year, and the loss of yield caused about 100 billion forints revenue reduction to the producers – the vice chairman of the National Association of Grain Producers (GOSZ) told MTI in Budapest on Thursday.
Petőházi Tamás, at the Agromashexpo Agricultural Trade Fair at the arable land trade conference said: Due to the loss of income, it is possible that the producers have to reconsider their planned investments this year as they will not have enough money. (MTI)
