One hundred and thirty thousand people attended at the events of Gluttonous Thursday

During the eighth edition of the Gluttonous Thursday  a total of about 130 thousand guests were received in 839 restaurants. The Gluttonous Thursday  was held on 31 January.

26.4 percent of the participating restaurants were in Budapest, 54 percent in rural cities, 19.5 percent were in other settlements. The majority of the guests (77.6 percent) already knew about the campaign, eight in ten were logged in advance. An average of 130 guests were eating in the scope of the Gluttonous Thursday, per restaurant but there were large differences in some locations – the Magyar Turizmus Zrt. informed MTI. (MTI)
