Századvég: the increase in wages explains the increase in retail turnover
October’s retail trade shows a significant increase, which can be explained by the increase in wages – Regős Gábor, economist of the Századvég Economic Researcher told M1 news channel on Monday.
Regős Gábor said that at the beginning of the year there were significant wage increases in the economy and that this will appear in the second half of the year to a greater extent in the retail trade. Retail sales have been rising steadily for 52 months. (MTI)
