Starbucks Plans 100 More UK, Ireland Outlets
Howard Schultz, the group's founder and chairman belives that in the U.K. coffee shop market far more growth to come.
Starbucks Corp. is planning its expansion overseas, its biggest program of store openings in the U.K.. At least 100 outlets would open across the U.K. and Ireland in 2008 – 25% more than this year – taking the total to 725.
The U.K. coffee shop market enriched GBP1.3 billion last year.
