Hungarians have spent 100 billion HUF for domestic trips
This year, the travel activity of Hungarian population is low, compared to Europe, but increased by 1.3 percentage points, compared to last year, despite the fact that household consumption declined.
According to the publication of the Central Statistical Office, in the first half of this year, 23 percent of the population participated in the domestic tourism, at least taking a several days domestic trip. The number of trips decreased by 2 percent to 7.9 million, time spent with the trips, decreased by 1 percent to 29.5 million days, compared to a year earlier.
The population spent 4 percent more than last year – reports Index.
