Eat for each other in the scope of the Food Bank’s fundraising campaign

Between 16-31 October the Food Bank organizes a fundraising campaign, which aims to raise funds for the operation of the association. To the action they wait the participation of cooking baking-loving enthusiastic volunteers, and restaurants.

16 October is theWorld Day of Nutrition. The Food Bank is preparing for the start of the winter season, when hundreds of thousands of people to be fed in the country.

Fortunately, there are plenty of available food supplies, since in the food chain, there are still thousands of tons of food that would be destroyed, if the Food Bank would not catch it in time, and through partner organizations transports it to the needy. However, to be able to cover the costs of the logistical, financial resources are needed.

In nearly 20 restaurants of Sodexo selecting the STOP Hunger menu you can help the by Association, and a charity dinner will be held at the Spirit Restaurant on 24 October.
