Top performance by Nestlé’s Hungarian factories last year
Nestlé Hungária Kft.’s sales revenue continued to rise in 2019. The lion’s share of the sales increase, HUF 15 billion was export sales growth. All three Hungarian Nestlé factories – located in Diósgyőr, Szerencs and Bük – performed better than in 2018. Nestlé Hungary exported products in the value of HUF 95 billion last year, realising nearly two thirds of its sales revenue abroad.
The Diósgyőr factory exported 13 percent more at 1,700 tons. The chocolate drink mix and instant coffee production capacity was up 12 percent in Szerencs to reach 40,000 tons per year. In Bük the pet food factory’s output jumped 23 percent to almost 200,000 tons. //
