The Czech, Polish, Hungarian and Slovak Chamber of Agriculture jointly address a number of issues
Strong EU regulation is needed to reduce the risk of African swine fever; there is a need for increased controls on cereal imports from Ukraine, and the management of the effects of climate change also requires considerable attention. Many topics related to the present and future of agriculture were discussed at the regular session of the Chamber of Agricultures of the Visegrád Countries.
The 74th session of the Chambers of Agricultures of the Visegrád Group countries (V4) was held on 25-26 November, 2019 in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland with the participation of the Slovak Chamber of Agriculture and Food (SPPK), the Polish Council of Agricultural Chambers (KRIR), the Hungarian National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the Czech Chamber of Agriculture (AKČR). Organizational leaders analyzed, inter alia, the state of the agri-food markets, the reform of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the multilateral trade agreements and, among other things, grain imports from Ukraine.
