Szamos confectionery to open in Esztergom
Here we can admire the marzipan makett of Chathedral Esztergom made from 58 kilos marzipan, in 250 workhour, by Tunde Izsak Kimmelne.
The building was a catering place since
1841, called Central Caffeehouse. Szamos was always thrue to the
traditions, so now the 12th Szamos catering place has a
long name: Central Caffehouse Esztergom Confectionery Szamos. There
is a corner here in memorian the famous Hungarian poet Mihaly Babits.
At the opening ceremony Gergo Suveges, television reporter spoke
about the history of the caffeehouse and recited some poems from
Babits.
