Strawberry counter drone helps to estimate the yield
The strawberries counting drone was developed by the Belgians – agrarszektor.hu wrote. A manufacturing research institute called Flanders Make has created a flying drone that, thanks to its artificial intelligence, can count berries from the air. Researchers say this development could be a great help to growers as it allows more accurate estimates of yields.
Flanders Make has previously developed drones that are capable of self-inventorying in a warehouse. In addition, an algorithm has been developed that can use cameras and sensors to count flowers and fruits on a parcel and then make yield estimates from them, Future Farming wrote.
