The straw-burning power plant will not be built – announced the new major of the city in MR1 Kossuth Radio. But surely to create new jobs a new plant will be built in the area. Currently the municipality negotiates with a glass-wool factory.
Newly elected mayor of Szerencs Koncz Ferenc, told that the population on the referendum voted yes to create more jobs.
The winemakers of the World Heritage area of Tokaj, who were against the straw-burning power plant are ready for the negotiations over the glass-wool factory – reports Világgazdaság Online.
