Hotel Association: hotels in Hungary continued to increase turnover
The turnover of the hotels in Hungary continued to increase. In the first eight months of the year, the gross sales of hotels exceeded the previous year by 11.6 percent and amounted to 217.5 billion HUF – according to the latest analysis of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ).
The gross hotel room revenue increased by 14.1 percent to 126.7 billion HUF.
The total gross turnover of hotels in Budapest, increased by 15.2 percent to 103.8 billion HUF, while room revenue increased by 17.2 percent to 65.7 billion HUF between January-August this year. (MTI)
