Hotel Association: the room occupancy is lower than in 2007
The president of the Association of the Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) told that the occupancy of hotels is still lower than in 2007.
Niklai Ákos at the general meeting of the association on Thursday in Debrecen told that the 50 percent reservation rate is not enough, “a lot more guests is need in Hungary.”
According to a survey regarding the reservations, Hungary is on the 9-10th place among teh 25 European countries, while in terms of average room rate Hungary is standing on the 21-22nd place – the president of the association added. (MTI)
