Hotel Association: terrorism reduces the willingness to travel in the short term
In the short term terrorism tend to reduce the willingness to travel, but the effect of terrorism in the longer term can be only measured several months later – the President of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants told MTI on Friday.
Niklai Ákos in connection with the terror on the French national holiday in Nice told that as the direct consequence of the events the passengers shorten the scheduled residence time in the country and fewer people are traveling to. He indicated that months are needed to measure the effect of terrorism on tourism in France or in other countries. (MTI)
