Hotel Association: the major sports events have a significant impact on tourism
The average price of hotels increased by 25 percent in Budapest during the Swimming World Championships and during the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Flesch Tamás, executive board member of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants told M1 news channel on Thursday that the occupancy of Budapest hotels is quite high in July in the normal period in the past 1-2 years. The capital after the crisis began serious developments, but steady price growth is also expected. (MTI)
