Hotel Association: a double-digit growth in the turnover of hotels in Hungary
In the first three quarters the gross sales of the hotels in Hungary exceeded 11.8 percent, compared to the previous year, reaching nearly 250 billion HUF, while the gross room revenue grew by 14.4 percent to 146 billion HUF.
According to the latest analysis of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ), the total gross turnover of the hotels in Budapest increased by 15.6 percent to 121.5 billion HUF, while teh revenue from room prices increased by 17.9 percent to 77.5 billion HUF in the first nine months of this year.
