Hotel association: hotel prices rose in July
In July, which is the main summer season, hotels became much more expensive compared to last year, despite the fact that they had fewer guests due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The hotel prices near the Lake Balaton increased by almost 40 percent. The gross sales revenue of hotels of 29.7 billion HUF in July was still 42.6 percent lower than a year before, according to the latest sectoral analysis of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ). (MTI)
