Hotel Association: strong domestic demand has pulled the hotels’ performance in the first half of the year
The performance of hotels in Hungary was driven by the strong domestic demand this year in the first half of the year – according to the most recent analysis of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ). The analysis was sent to MTI on Tuesday.
The report points out that the number of domestic guest nights grew by 6.1 percent, while the number of foreign guest nights grew by 3.1 percent. The revenues of rural hotels increased by 10.9 percent to 97 billion HUF. (MTI)
