Hotel association: the Hotel of the Year awards were presented
The Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) announced the Hotel of the Year contest again at the end of 2022 after a three-year hiatus with the professional partnership of the Hungarian Tourism Agency. The awards were presented on Tuesday evening – the MSZÉSZ told MTI.
The purpose of the competition, launched in 2013, is to award hotels that, in addition to their outstanding economic performance, provide quality services to their guests, their human policy is exemplary, they protect the environment with sustainable solutions, or they help those in need with charity campaigns. This time, 24 hotels participated in the competition.
The winner of the Hotel of the Year 2022 title in the nationally announced 3-star category was ibis Styles Budapest Airport. Kolping Hotel Spa & Family Resort won in the 4-star category announced for hotels outside the capital.
There was a tie in the 4-star “limited service” category in Budapest, Opera Garden Hotel & Apartments and Hotel Moments Budapest won. In the Budapest 4-star “full service” category, the Budapest Airport Hotel Stáció Wellness & Conference received the award.
