Hotel Association: up to 50 percent decline of incoming guests may occur due to the stop of Malév
If the Malév flights will not start again soon, the number of inbound visitors can decrease by 40 to 50 percent in Budapest in the coming weeks – said Niklai Ákos, vice- president of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ), on Friday to MTI.
Friday 6 am – the Malév ceased its operations and canceled all flights. Niklai Ákos said that more than half of the reduction in the number of passengers affects the hotels, so the occupancy can drop by two digits – reports MTI.
