Szállás.hu: record-breaking growth last year in the tourism market
Domestic tourism ended with growth record last year, rising by 15 percent in 2017. 70 percent of guest nights were for 1-2 days – according to the comprehensive annual analysis of Szállás.hu.
The communication of the portal sent to MTI on Wednesday emphasized that Budapest, Siófok and Eger attracted the most guests. This year, the expansion of domestic tourism may continue, as there are now more pre-bookings than last year. The Szállás.hu predicts an average of 7-10 percent gross accommodation revenue increase for 2018 on the Hungarian accommodation market. (MTI)
